What will happen to 12 sec. event recording after February 15, 2022

I got a popup today while opening the WYZE app on my phone, I didn’t pay attention on that alert and closed it. If I am not mistaken, it was probably alerting me that if I don’t have any paid subscription by February 15, 2022, WYZE will no more keep the 12 sec. recorded video clips of the camera for 15 days.

Can you please confirm ?

If it is the case, I’ll not be interested for paid subscription for $20 per year per WYZE camera, instead I’ll be switching to RING, their initial hardware cost is higher but in the long run compared to WYZE they are much cheaper.

So I Can No longer Record 12 Second Clips To The Cloud?

So now I have to get a card for every camera or pay 10 bucks a month for 8 cameras? Cards, in my experience, have not been that reliable. Oh well, I get the price point and all but when I bought into the Wyze system with 10 cameras, 5 bulbs, 17 plugs, a thermostat, and a band it never came up about monthly fees. Am I missing something or is cloud recording totally off the table without a subscription?
