Duo Cams are back in stock, and Wyze shipped out a warranty replacement. I’m happy to say that I am now consistently seeing the plugged-in icon for charging, and I finally see consistent continuous SD card recording. So, after buying 3 transformers and doing all this troubleshooting, it was a faulty Duo Cam. If you are deciding what transformer to go with, I am using the Maxdot 16V 30VA (same as @spamoni ).
