So we have multiple camera’s set up at our house. My wife and I both have the app and I shared the camera with her. The problem we run into is that I want to give her full access to control settings also, but there is no permissions list for users who have access to the camera. Is there a comprehensive list of what sharing is and is not possible?

If there is, then I’m not aware of it. I imagine something like that might be helpful to a lot of users, but I haven’t seen one.

can I disable two-factory auth and just share the same username and password with her?

While it violates security best practices on both counts (disabling two-factor authentication [2FA] and sharing credentials), this is apparently what a lot of spouses do in order for each person to have full access to all camera features, for instance. Using the same account might be a problem if you had devices like Scales, but for just cameras this is the way a lot of couples work around the limitations of shared cameras.

You can also just log into your account on your wife’s phone without disabling 2FA and “trust” the device while doing so. As long as she doesn’t log out of the account/app, there shouldn’t be a need to login again, and this should provide some additional security for the account.
