My spouse’s Wyze watch started acting weird (as in the touch screen stopped responding) I had been looking online for a solution, and last night while sleeping the same thing the OP talked about happened. The LED sensors on the back got very hot and burned her wrist. There was no water involved as she was sleeping at the time. There is no visible damage to the sensors.
