Sorry if this has been covered bit I noticed after a software upgrade, when viewing videos on my SD Card it no longer has a circle you can click to few the video at the specific time. Now, you have to try and hover over a small dash on the right side that is almost impossible to properly select. This makes reviewing recorded motion detected videos impossible.
Is there a setting for this or has Wyze just introduced a very bad bug?
What app version are you using? Can you post a screen shot of what your seeing? Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling a fresh copy? It wouldn’t hurt to also restart your device between uninstalling and then reinstalling a new copy.
Thanks for the response. Please find attached an image of the screenshot. Before, there would be a circle image in the middle I could easily select to see the motion video that was triggered.
Thanks for your response. Just another quick question if you don’t mind. Does the notification feature now require a subscription to be used? Meaning, it won’t provide notifications on people and cars if I don’t have a subscription?
Notifications do not require a subscription, but it will be for any motion that happens in the detection zone. If you want it to only notify you of people, pet, package, vehicle, etc that requires a subscription. Also note without a subscription you’re limited to one notification every 5 minutes (well 2 if you have both sound and motion enabled). The only notification this 5 minute limit doesn’t apply to is smoke/CO alarm ones.
Notifications were broken today so if you haven’t been receiving them that’s why. Not sure if it is fixed yet.
Just to provide additional context, what you’re describing seems like an issue that was described after the v3.1.5.569 app was introduced, and that appears to be an app :
FWIW, the newest Wyze app I’ve tried so far is v3.2.1.581, and in that app version the event tags are missing from the microSD recording timeline for both Cam OG and Cam OG Telephoto devices. The v2.50.9.512 app still shows the event tags for me.
