Video doorbell microphone

Can anyone tell me how to correct an issue? I am having with the Wyze video doorbell? When anyone presses the doorbell of course it notifies my phone, although I can see the person clearly at the door, I can’t unmute the microphone in order to speak to them. I have already tried to power cycle my doorbell as well as we remove the app from my phone and reinstalled it. None of that is helping. Can anyone give me any suggestions?
