If you could mention which app and firmware versions you’re using, that might be helpful. What you’re describing appears to be related to an issue raised in the latest Cam v4 firmware topic, and the Release Notes do mention an update to the spotlight control, though I wouldn’t expect that to completely disable an existing setting. I think you’re probably experiencing a bug.
