V4 Motion Tagging - v3

Is there a way to turn off motion tagging on the v3 like you can with the Pan v3?

If I’m on the camera’s live view page and

  1. Tap the upper-right Settings :gear:, then
  2. Tap Detection Settings, then
  3. I have a Motion Tagging feature on the Detection Settings screen.

Do you see a comparable setting, or is something missing? Let me know if a screenshot would be helpful.

Thank you very much. I just looked and it was right there, I missed because I was looking at one of my v3’s and thought I was logged into my 4V. Is there a way to turn it off on the v3?

You’re welcome! I don’t have any Cam v3s, but I found a relevant Support article:

To turn on Motion Tagging:

  1. In the Wyze app, tap Home, then your Wyze Cam.
  2. Tap More > Motion Tagging to toggle it on/off.

As you’ve probably already discovered, the Motion Tagging setting for Cam v4 :cam_v4: is the same place as it is for Cam Pan v3 :cam_pan_v3:. My understanding is that Cam v3 :cam_v3: uses a different UI, so I imagine that’s why that setting location is different.
