But the weather is nice today 78 Degrees with a nice cool breeze. Better than the couple of weeks off 100+ we had earlier. The Iguanas said they are staying in Florida.

Just to make @Seapup happy I ordered a Black V4 but I won’t let it record any MFP 
videos.
But I love MFP videos! 
Ok maybe just one, if the gang doesn’t steal it first after I get it and set it up.
MFP’s V3 cam is only 4" off the ground screwed on to a piece of 4X4, they have knocked it over.
Tangent - I watched an interesting video on why you’ll see many that live in the desert wearing black robes. Apparently while the robe itself gets hot, the heat stays there and doesn’t transfer to your body, so it is actually cooler than a white one.
Whether that questionable law of physics transfers to electronics. dunno.
This is why “El Aurens” was clearly the outsider while Omar Sharif wore black in Lawrence of Arabia?

I got my Black V4 after 8 days of waiting, why would DHL drive it from southern ca. to the post office where I live in Northern Ca.?
Anyway I set it up today, setup was quick and easy, then it had to install the latest firmware. It was assigned to Cam Unlimited but wouldn’t record any cloud events for a while so in my normal fashion I got Pi$$ed off and did a reset on the cam. I had a lot of connection issues when I took it to the place of my V3 critter/MFP cam even though it had 3 bars on the signal. Tried it on my WYZE dot com and it wouldn’t load. 
I brought it back inside and put it in a window looking out and still had issues getting cloud events videos. I also checked my account for services and it said I now had 13 cams, the new V4 was there. I let it remain in the window and went and got a haircut and made a 
/Jameson run.
The cam is now working as normal and recording only smart events that I have set.
Maybe it need to warm up it gizzards? So no MFP videos from this cam until I am sure it is working correctly.
Video files ar to large to load unless I edit them.
Jameson can solve many problems.
or cause many. I’ll just be driving my recliner watching Netflix in a couple off hours.
This is important because it’s actually three troubleshooting steps in one:
- Walk away from the problem when you feel frustrated.
- Do something necessary and/or nice for yourself while you’re taking a break. (A haircut just makes me feel better.)
- Add ethanol in moderation.
Whoever manages the Wyze troubleshooting flowchart should take note. If no such single individual exists, then I’ll nominate @peepeep.
