Each time I insert an SD card–regardless of GB “size” or brand–the camera “clicks” in 15sec increments. Removing the SD card quiets the camera. This phenomenon exists with each camera I own and is repeatable. Resetting the camera doesn’t fix the problem.
I’m not interested in the source of the clicking sound. I am interested in learning what possble connection exists between the camera’s IR actuator (or whatever it’s called) and instances where the camera has some non-specific problem with the SD card.
Also, why is there no error logging with these cameras?
