Unable to fetch video from the cloud errors

I wouldn’t be surprised if they are bought up in a year or so. They look to be more interested in expanding user base than quality of software. The actual products are good quality.

I’m getting the same “Failed to Fetch Video from the Cloud (06)” errors but only on the one camera that is farthest away from Router. I submitted a “developer log through Wyze Support” but have not heard back. As others it seems to have started when I upgraded to Camera+. When I choose a closer location it stops the error. I know this sounds too simple to be the solution for all but throwing it out there.

Getting tons of the 07 errors on my doorbell too. Didn’t realize how much I miss having an SD card in my V2 cam until I can’t access any videos. Cam+ was supposed to replace the need for an SD card.

Right now I’m treating my Wyze setup as a toy, which is all I really paid for it (toy money). Doorbell alerts take minutes to come through, worthless other than passive security monitoring.

considering they made a ‘CAR Toy’ i would too… I think they made it to remind customers that all they make are toys…

I’m having the same issues! I feel like i just go around in a circle. I use mine to get vids of neighbors vandalizing my property, but now I’ve missed another few days of destruction due to unsupervised kids.
I’m going to have to switch eventually if theu can’t fix it…I’d rather get footage so i may make complete police reports, NOT get my property trashed and spend a little more $ on cams.
Wyze customer service needs to actually give service to people who need it!.
Hope your issue got solved…

Welcome to the user community @Northerngreeneyes!

This is a user to user forum. Users like you helping each other.

A couple of questions to help narrow down where the problem is getting your Cloud Event Videos:

  1. What cam(s) are you using?
  2. What subscription plan are you on? Basic\None, CamPlus Lite, CamPlus, CamPlus Pro?
  3. Do you have a cam with an SD Card inserted and are you recording to it?
  4. Do you have your cam’s Event Recording settings for Detects Motion or Smart Detection Settings on?
  5. What do you see in the Events Tab?

Please provide a bit more detail of how you are trying to get your video.

I’ll be glad to help once we can narrow down what you are experiencing.

The customer service is ridiculous. I talked to 4 people yesterday, and they were very patronizing. The last girl ball face lied to me, and when I called her out on it, she realized she messed up and had to lie even more. I religiously pay for my Cam Plus, and continue to get worse and worse service. It’s always the really important videos that I seem to never be able to fetch. I have a stalker, and use these cameras to keep my little boy and I safe…but they aren’t doing the trick. They don’t work half the time, and it makes the police think I’m lying since I can’t seem to pull up the videos to show them proof. Wyze is essentially putting my son and I in danger, so I’m going to have to go with a different set up. Naturally Wyze doesn’t care. They made the sell, got their money, so that’s all that they care about.

I agree. I have turned to Reolink cameras. The only thing good about Wyze is the form factor. They rarely work in notifications, but sure do send false alerts a lot. I sold off 5 of the 10 I had and use the others for non-important viewing. Try Reolink. Much better customer service.
