Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Code : bug leaving the Code field

After signing on with your id and password and entering your 2FA Code I can’t leave the field except to go to the Log Out button. I am navigating using a FireTv remote (so no keyboard), when I use the down arrow, the code in the field decrements by 1 (this also happens on a browser as well.

This means I can’t login to see the camera on my TV

I’ve long thought it was weird that the code field on that authentication workflow page had an increment/decrement control, and I can see how that can be problematic, especially in your use case. I’m going to see if I can get someone from Wyze to take a look at this, because I believe they probably should not be using <input type="number"> for that field.

I am experiencing the exact same issue.
I have the FireTV Remote (i.e., no keyboard or mouse)

In responding to the “Wyze login required” prompt, I have logged in successfully.

And then, in response to the 2FA request, I have entered the Code that I received in email.

Unfortunately, there is no way to leave the “code” field to complete the autehntication.. All help appreciated!

Thanks for chiming in. I put in a note about this a week ago and was told that it would be passed up to the developers the next day, but I haven’t seen any updates since then. I’ll keep watching and update this topic when I learn more.

No guarantees, my research says that until it fixed by Wyze try a Bluetooth mouse or USB mouse just for this step, if your Fire tv supports it.
