【Tutorial】Method for Resolving the Issue of Wyze Watch Not Receiving Notifications

Hi!

I’m Alex and I’m the Product Manager for Wyze Watch. Recently, some people have reported that their Wyze Watch cannot receive message notifications. We have put together a tutorial to help resolve this issue. Please follow the steps below and check your device settings.

iOS
[1] Check whether the phone is paired to the watch via Bluetooth.
Device Pairing: Tap to open your Wyze Watch in the app, then tap “Pair” on the Bluetooth Pairing Request pop-up to pair your Wyze Watch to your iPhone. Then, check your iPhone’s Bluetooth settings and tap the info icon for Wyze Watch 44/47mm. Tap to toggle on “Share System Notifications”. If you cannot find Wyze Watch 44/47mm in your Bluetooth settings, please restart your Wyze app and pair again.

[2] Check if the notification toggle in the Wyze app has been turned on.
Notification Settings: On the Wyze app Home tab, tap on your Wyze Watch 47. On the Wyze Watch 47 page, tap “Notification” then tap to toggle on Allow Notifications if you want your Wyze Watch to send notifications to you. Tap the toggle on for each application you want to receive notifications from. If you cannot find an app in the list, tap to allow notifications from “Other applications” at the bottom of the list.

[3] Check the time range of the Wyze app’s Do Not Disturb Mode setting.
On the Wyze app Home tab, tap on your Wyze Watch 44/47. On the Wyze Watch 44/47 page, tap “Do Not Disturb”. On the next screen, tap to toggle on “Do Not Disturb” and set a start and end time. When Do Not Disturb is turned on, your Wyze Watch will not display incoming notifications as pop-ups. Instead they will be put in the notification center, which you can access by swiping down on the home screen of the Wyze Watch.

[4] Check whether the watch’s Do Not Disturb Mode is on.
From the home screen of your Wyze Watch 44/47, swipe upwards across the screen. You will see a control center with multiple shortcut functions. The grey bell icon indicates that Do Not Disturb Mode is turned off, which means your Wyze Watch will display a pop-up and vibrate to let you know when you have a new notification. The blue, crossed out bell icon indicates that Do Not Disturb Mode is turned on, which means your Wyze Watch will send incoming notifications to the notification center without disturbing you. You can tap on the icon to switch Do Not Disturb Mode from off to on.

And be sure you “tap” to change selections.
Sliding the on off button did NOT work for me.

Why does the DnD setting not seem to sync between the watch and the app? I checked in the app and DnD was NOT enabled. I then checked on the watch itself and it WAS enabled. Haven’t gotten notifications for a few days and couldn’t figure out why.
