This has happened again, a year later. The time changed at 2AM this morning. Very minor issue if it clears up on its own again. I haven’t checked the recording length and cool down yet. Edit: They are correct this time (30sec and none).
Yep, I notice the time on my recordings were off. You have to go into Advanced Settings of each camera and “Sync Time” at the bottom of the screen. It is a little odd that a device like these need to be manually updated.
In my case the problem had cleared up the next day (both this year and a year ago). I didn’t check to see if the recording times matched up. For me, it wasn’t that the time on the cameras was off by an hour (maybe it was, not sure if I ever checked), but that the spotlights were coming on throughout the day. I don’t know if this happened also happened after the time change in the fall. It may have and I just didn’t notice.
I wonder if this could be similar to another bug I found with the V4 cameras (setting an offset for the motion warning changes it by X number of hours instead of X number of minutes). If that’s the case, then instead of springing ahead by one hour (60 minutes), the cameras sprung ahead by 60 hours (possibly without actually moving the date ahead by two days – 60 hours = 2.5 days), effectively flipping AM and PM (until the cameras did a time sync on their own at some point). Probably not the case, as I think the spotlights continued to come on well past sunset on Sunday.
