Today I noticed that my spotlights were turning on during the daytime, well after sunrise and well before sunset. Did the switch to Daylight Saving Time confuse the cameras? I confirmed that the cameras still have their spotlights scheduled for “sunset-sunrise”.
But I did discover that the record length had reverted to 12sec and the cool down to 5min on all nine cameras. I had set them all to 20sec and no cool down months ago!
A lot of people have SD cards that got confused by the time change, so your theory that the spotlight may be confused is probably valid.
Was it only during an hour or so or has it been all day? Maybe a time synch and reboot of the cam will get it back on track. Or maybe try disabling and re-enabling the spotlight function, perhaps that will make it realize there is a new sunset-sunrise time.
It was all day. I noticed one turn on when I stepped out on the deck around 10am, and then saw several come on while I was doing yard work in the afternoon. That night I set the max record length and cool down back to what I had had them, and did a sync. They were fine the next day and this morning.
