FYI, unlike most animals, racoons like to relieve themselves at the same place. I had a group that liked to clime the maple tree in my backyard and poo at the same spot under it. Thankfully they are not around anymore 
Yeah they have a special “SPOT” for #2 in the far left corner of the backyard . I take a shovel and throw it all over the fence.
