Since last update fan won’t stay on cycle, even on hold mode. As soon as I back out ir close the app it switches the fan back to auto.

I have IOS but probably similar. I found they no longer have cycle, it is either on or auto. You have to go into settings, advanced and fan cycle and enter the time setting you want. Found this because cycle was not where it was.
Yeah that’s what I figured. Horrible change.
