What you’ve written makes me wonder if there are ongoing issues with some microSD situations with this Cam that still need to be addressed in a future firmware update. If you believe that’s the case, then I’d suggest submitting an app log and then sharing your Log ID in that Wyze News firmware release announcement topic (linked above in the quote) with a description of the problem and your observations, along with the details I noted above.
