All my WCO cams and base show off line but they are not. Great maintenance last night AWS. Power cycle of base fixed it.
All my notifications were late or non existent last night. Then they all came in at once in a torrential blast. Same this morning. I have a ton of macros that run from Alexa Routines and Wyze Rules upload notifications, so they have been hosed since last night. Sure hoping it is better tonight.
I just noticed that the one and only WYZE smart plug I use also was showing off-line but it was still powered. Pulled it and plugged back in and now shows as online. It wasn’t connected to anything important.
I didn’t have anything that I know of go offline. It just affected my Rules execution and Alexa’s ability to action devices. Direct voice commands and rules were taking forever, if at all.
Everything worked when I got home tonight. Hopefully this was the maintenance needed to build in some layered redundancy so we don’t have so many AWS outages when the Amazon servers go AWOL.
All of my Wyze gear survived the maintenance except WCOv2 cams. Powercycling the base stations didn’t help. I had to go outside and powercycle the WCOv2 cams. It’s odd that my WCOv2 cams were affected while WCOv1 cams were not.
