You can actually do this already with Wyze cams.

  1. Run Wyze cams through an RTSP converter like Tiny Cam Pro or Docker Wyze Bridge
  2. Run a Docker container such as “Vehicle Counting and Speed Estimation using YOLOv8” (along with any prerequisites).
  3. Plugin the URL for your RTSP stream into the container program and set it up

Now you have Wyze cams monitoring traffic in your neighborhood including vehicle counts each direction, speed estimation, even possible to make heat maps to visualize high traffic areas and times, etc.

You can do SOOOO much with RTSP :wink:
