I know how to turn the notifications off but when I do a day or less later I seem to start getting them all over again and have to stop them again. Need a fix if there is one.
I just turn them all off here and they stay off until I turn back on. Never had an issue on the iOS app.

If you have cam plus on any of your cameras you can just turn of selected events. This is from a V3, if you you want to turn certain items off just toggle it to off. These are all turned on (Green).
Thanks for the help I have them all turned off now so we shall see what happens.
Make sure you don’t have any rules which turns notifications back on.
