Please make wyze room sensors available to work as stand alone wifi devices, just like cameras, to monitor temperature and humidity from wyze app. They can work with thermostat only now. Also make hourly, daily and weekly graphs available. You sales will go through the roof.
No hardware changes required just software upgrade.
Similar devices can cost up to $65 per piece.
Server room temperature and video monitoring
I’d like to to pair a room sensor with a ways Cam V3 so I can monitor, graph and receive alerts when the temperature or humidity is out of line in my client’s server rooms. This way I don’t have to mess with their AC controls and I can monitor temperature humidity across all my clients.
Heat is the #1 killer of server equipment.
[Mod edit] “Rules” can be used to trigger actions with cameras within the Wyze ecosystem. Merged with an existing wishlist topic. Vote to help it along!
wireless outdoor IP65 thermometer
iI have a green house that I would like to have a thermometer for. It I would also send notification if the temperature went above and below a certain temperature… Since there is power in the greenhouse it would be ok to be plugged in to 120v house current.
thank you
Simple Smart Thermometer
I need simple thermometers that I can place around the house and monitor when I’m traveling in the winter. The living room. The wine cellar. The water pump room (we have a well).
I’ve tried some products and found their connectivity is unstable. All my Wyze devices, in contrast, are stable and reliable.
I’m not talking thermostat – I just want to know if the furnace is working!

There is already a temperature/humidity sensor in early access:

As to the products you’ve tried, did you try the SwitchBot ones (currently on a CyberMonday sale)?:

I have a number of these around my home, including one under the eave of my roof and another close to the ground (and my water supply’s exit from the ground) underneath my home.
I vote for in the app and keep it small. I would also like to see a sensor that can be used to monitor refrigerator, freezer and outdoor grill.
Indoor / Outdoor temperature and humidity sensors would be great and without the screen.
If you can kick a wind speed reader into that too, that would be awesome though temp and humidity are the priority.
There are many ways to open the wyze app on repurposed phones and tablets around the house if desired to see the info. Small and energy efficient is great.
I am in the same boat. I just want the same exact product Wyze created for the thermostats, but I want them standalone on a separate tab so I can look at my Wine Cellar or Garage which are not ever going to be connected to my Wyze thermostat. I suppose I could set one up, but never included it as part of the temp balancing. But I want this to give me historical data so I can see how my Wine Cellar or Garage is fluctuating. They have all the pieces and I am sure it would be sold, but they need to make it directly WIFI. There are a lot of products out there to do this, but I don’t want to monitor multiple apps for my stuff.
I also want this, a stand alone WiFi temperature sensor. However, it should also be capable of sending on/off signals to the Wyze Plugs. With such a device, one should be able to control a Wyze plug using a rule in the app to trigger the plug on or off based upon the temperature reading from the temperature sensor.
Remote temperature sensor(s)
Would love to see a temp sensor. Most thermostats are in one central location. At times I check in on my elderly parents and would like to know the temp in their room and others areas, just a thought.
