Solution to compressor turning on when heat is selected

If you have an issue with your thermostat activating the outside condenser when you switch on the heat, I might have a fix, that worked for me. This only works if you have an electric radiator and not a heat pump, which would need the outside condenser to turn on. With the electric radiator my setup, under the pro setup, was forced induction. This was forcing air outside to blow inside. I changed the forced induction setup to radiator. This change stopped the outside fan from blowing but allowed the inside blower to blow on max and heat my house how it was intended. To get there go to settings, scroll over to equipment. Hit continue, then hit continue again. You will get to a screen that says equipment setting: scroll down to heat type, next choose electric then it will take you to the next screen and choose radiators, then on the next screen, which should be the equipment settings screen again, click done. This should fix the problem, if not then your problem might be the wiring on the air handler.
