I have 2 outdoor cams. One is hooked to the Wyze solar pad and the other is just using battery. Can anyone tell me why the solar one blows through power so quick? I’m talking like a week it goes from 90 to 0. Yet the one on the built in battery lasts months. They are both set up identical. Any help or recommendations would be great.
Have you tried temporarily unplugging the solar panel from the cam, and seeing if it still has this issue?
Solar panels use a diode to prevent power back flow that discharges the battery. Your’s might be dead, hence draining the battery.
