Software wyze

Hi, Good morning, I have 2 cameras installed in my house for almost a year, monitored from my Samsung Android phone, suddenly two days ago, the Wyze app disappeared and when I try to install the Wyze app, a note appears saying that WYZE is not compatible with my phone version.
I don’t know how that is possible, if I have been using the app in my phone for around a year and now suddenly it is not compatible.
There was an update on my phone and after that I can’t do anything.
What options do I have other than buying a new phone?

Wow. That is odd. I heard that an other member has that issue. All I use are Samsung phones and am interested.

What version of OS and model are you using?

I am on 14 oui 6.1 on three devices. One tablet is Android 12.

ui version 5.1

Hmm. Probably Android 13? Good to know. I didn’t have any issue when I was at that version.

Hopefully you have logged this issue with support. This is a volunteer user-based forum 95% of the time.

Hopefully someone will chime in with more insight.

Just wondering… Which Samsung phone model? E.g., Galaxy S22, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, etc.

This makes me think of a related topic:

I don’t know if this is a similar type of issue where Google Play Store isn’t installing the app on your phone because it’s a specific model, but in your case I’d be inclined to open a Support ticket and be sure to note your phone’s exact model and Android version.

Exactly. That was the other odd issue I saw. I just don’t understand why recent phones are not valid for installs.

I remember having a Samsung S6 on Android 7 and playstore told me that the Amazon app would not be supported, but that was an old phone that barely worked anymore. Something is off. These need to be taken off the exclude list.
