I have 8 v3 cameras that I just updated from v2. I have them mounted all around the outside of my house in Florida. Several are directly exposed to the scorching direct sun.
For over 2 years they have worked perfectly with minor issues. They all have cheap 128gb SD I get from offshore vendors 5 bucks each. Where I use 2 cameras I bought a dual power adapter with enough power for both cameras ($12 for two)…don’t use original for 2 cameras. The SD cards give me more than enough history 2-3 weeks on continuous. If you understand what you see in the photos you’ll know how to do this really simple for most people. Just a small screw holds them in place and with the wire connection outside the box so easy to change a camera. Use a piece of foam around the hole so the Wasps don’t get in and build a nest. The cameras are weatherproof and have held up very well and still look like new after the v2s were out there for a year.
I use Bluestacks on my PC so no need for Camplus (Don’t waste your money)
