I put my wife on the sharing cameras . My ? Is on this new thumbnail show event thing… Can she use it to watch the thumbnail show. Cause right now when she goes to press the flashing sd card icon it tells her No Events in the last 24hrs. Is this Normal for someone who share permission to their cameras? We got Android 13 UI 5.1 and the Wyze app. Version v2.47.0 (373)… Anybody else has the fault?
She is a trusted individual inside your household, no? So share your logon credentials with her. ‘Sharing’ is for those OUTSIDE your household that you want to have no control.
Shared users get no access to the SD card. Not a fault.

I notice when I select a camera that only has motion events, the Thumbnail Show gives this message:
“No recent events in the past 24 hours”
If it identifies the event as containing a person, car or pet, it displays on my Thumbnail Show. I will check my other phone that is shared and see what displays with it. They are both Android though with the current Wyze App 2.47. We also have Cam+ Unlimited!

I tried logging the shared one out/in, clearing cache, toggled hardware acceleration on/off, but I get:

I rebooted the phone too, it is a Pixel 4a/5g Android 14 with current November security updates. My Pixel 6a works on the Thumbnail Viewer though (Primary Phone).
One of the mods may want to chime in and see if they have the same issue.
I am running 27 Cam Plus cams uploading all motion events. My Slide Show and Timeline views only populate my AI Tagged Smart Detection Events, not simple untagged Motion Events.
The promotional literature released by Wyze indicates that the Thumbnail Slide Show and Timeline features within the new Event Reports UX is a Cam Plus subscription required feature. But, there are reports of Cam Plus Lite users being able to access the Slide Show with both Person and Motion Events shown.
Also, I do not share cams nor have cams shared with me so I cannot test how the Slide Show or the Timeline will react on a shared cam.
I have all the cameras shared to a “shared” phone, and I can confirm that the Thumbnail Show under events on the shared phone displays nothing but:
“No Recent Events in the past 24 hours”
My phone display a BUNCH of AI Tagged smart events with the same criteria.
We have Cam+ Unlimited, which is a great deal at $99 a year.
This may be by design, and I know the temporary solution could be to log them on with the primary user’s credentials, but I hate to do that.
WyzeJasonJ may be able to clarify who is supposed to get what (primary vs shared and Cam+ vs Lite).
Like others have said this is a new feature, and may need to mature.
I think the V3 Pan dropping connection, and the Webview problems are more serious than my stuttering on event playback (due to “Record Sound” being OFF in advanced options), and this Thumbnail Show.
