1. What is the “Monitoring” icon at the bottom used for? I see that “Disarmed” is selected at the top, with “Home” and “Away” available options.

That is only if you have Wyze’s alarm/monitoring subscription. If you don’t DON’T TOUCH IT, it will mess your settings up. Ask me how I know
