I wish there was a firmware update that will allow an alert to be sent if the sensor has been open for a set amount of time. For instance my mother in law is staying with us and she tends to open the front door at night but never closes it completely. It would be nice to get an additional warning alerting that the door wasn’t shut after a length of time.
This feature already exists. Go to the sensor and tap the gear icon. Then tap “Is left open” to checkmark that option and you will see below that the option to set the amount of time left open to trigger the notification.
