Just got a second keypad for home monitoring. When I go to pair it by holding the reset button it buzzes twice, and the home light starts flashing but it doesn’t pair. Eventually the pairing function on both the hub and keypad both announce that “pairing timed out” even though they are right next to each other. Any ideas? Thanks!

Welcome to the Wyze community sirbob52. I just re-added a 2nd keypad. I didn’t feel it buzz, but the Home button did flash white and it paired:
Follow the setup instructions carefully in section 3.1. When you see the Home button start flashing white while pressing the reset button, immediately release the reset button. It should go into pairing:
If it still doesn’t work, remove the batteries for a minute, reinstall batteries and retry.
I just tried again and had the same results… I tried after removing the batteries for 60 seconds as well. I don’t feel it buzz. When I hold down the reset button for three seconds the keypad emits two quick buzzer sounds and the home button starts flashing at the same time. The home button proceeds to flash 10 times. A minute or so later the keypad says “pairing timed out” as does the hub.
I would try replacing the batteries (don’t use rechargeables):

I tried to call the Wyze # but it says they are closed due to holiday and will open on January 3rd…today is January 9th! I tried taking batteries out, using new batteries, reseting internet and hub - nothing works. Need a new keypad. Everything else paired and works fine.
I opened a ticket via email and they replied promptly. I already have an order in for a warranty replacement. They basically just had me re-try the steps recommended by Seapup and then after that didn’t work they offered me a replacement or refund. I opted for the replacement and will update how it goes here once I receive it and try to pair it.
Got my new keypad today and had no issues pairing it. I noticed when I went to pair it that the home button started flashing and it did not make the two buzzes that the defective unit made…
Help desk is helpless…wait half an hour to talk to a chicken farmer in Singapore who can’t speak English and cant help…product has potential but support is nonexistent…Im returning this Chinese junk in the morning…
I was having problems getting the 2nd keypad to pair. Removal of the 3 batteries was the trick to make it wyrk.
