I’ve compared all the settings but I cannot get my second garage controller to properly show the status of closed. Both were bought at the same time with the bundled camera and installed the same distance from the door etc.
The consequence is any automation that says close the garage actually opens it.
I’ve redone the QR calibration. Reset services, restarted the camera.
You’ll see on the screenshot below that Garage Middle Door shows the correct closed status but Garage Left Door does not.
Any suggestions?

I haven’t contacted support but did some more testing and put the Camara/Garage Controller on a separate Unifi WiFi network/SSID for IoT that is only 2.4 Ghz. It’s not perfect yet but seems to have improved the detection of the door being closed. I was forced to create the IoT network when the Wyze Thermostat refused to connect to my WiFi but would connect to my phone hotspot. The Wyze cameras haven’t had issues with the dual band mesh network so the thermostat has something unique in it’s chipset/firmware. UniFi has a checkbox “Enhanced IoT Connectivity” I used for the separate SSID. It’s a large home with a big backyard so I have a UniFi Cloud Gateway Max router managing 4 access points to create a mesh network that works anywhere on the property including the fire pit near the back fence.
