Scifi show chat, engage! (watercooler topic)

I hadn’t heard of that one, but I like Christoph Waltz, and I see that it’s available on several streaming platforms. Brazil used to be my favorite Terry Gilliam film until 12 Monkeys was released and I saw that (and I liked Time Bandits quite a bit even before Brazil). I was really impressed by Brad Pitt’s performance in 12 Monkeys. I also enjoyed the first season of the SyFy series but never got around to watching the rest of it.

The 12 Monkeys series resolved itself nicely. I enjoyed it and the movie.

Cool. I might have to find time for that one, too. :+1:

I just watched the Electric State movie. You were right, it was a little different than the trailer made me think it would be

I found a free streaming TV site. Specifically for this thread you can stream the Sci-Fi World channel. You also may find other interesting channels even from other countries.

That’s pretty cool and a new one to me. The domain name reminds me of Radio Garden, which is a similar kind of site for streaming audio. Thanks for sharing!

I liked Kraven. Marvel finally did a “REAL” Anti-hero. Most of their alleged “Anti” heroes are really just heroes. :man_shrugging:

I only have Apple+ on my TV, so those all go to the back of the line for me. I usually watch shows on my phone while I’m working in my office, and don’t spend much time near my TV. Ugh.

Murderbot, I think I want to read the book(s) first. I have heard they’re great…but I’m in the middle of the most recent Stormlight Archive book, so maybe after that.

A few of those are currently purchase/rent only :sob: So I might wait a while, but I’m really interested in them.

A couple are on HBO Max right now, so I’ll start them tonight.

I saw The Gorge, nothing earth shattering but entertaining.

If you are watching Andor (Disney+), the last 3 episodes were released today. That 2-season series gives you the entire prequel to Rouge One, which is the prequel to Star Wars episode 4, “A New Hope”. This is the backstory of the people who got the plans for the Death Star that Luke used to destroy it. :slightly_smiling_face:
