If I save a video event, is it downloaded to my phone into my gallery from the camera itself or from the cloud?
When you save / Download an Event, it will save to your photos area. I use a Google Pixel, it downloads to my phone and then Google Photos will pick it up and save it to the Google Cloud
Likewise on Samsung. Saves same way to album and OneDrive.
I don’t think y’all are understanding the question I know they’re saved in my gallery that’s not what I’m asking I’m asking where do they come from the cloud or the device the camera itself.
It depends where you initiate the recording from. If you hit the record button while you are viewing the cloud event it will be from the cloud. If you hit record while in SD viewing mode it will come from the SD card.

Again I don’t think anybody is actually reading and comprehending my post it’s an event.
Events are already recorded I am not pressing record the events are there I’m looking at it and I’m hitting save video where is it saving from is it coming from the SD card or is it coming from the cloud???
Events can be stored in the cloud and/or on SD. So the answer to your question depends on where you are initiating the save. You can try to explain how you get to where you are hitting save, or you can post a screenshot of the page where you hit save and we’ll be able to correctly answer.

Pressing record in event or SD card view is equal to your “save”.
Maybe they’re probably pressing the Download icon.
I tried to upload a video, but file size was too large.
YES I am watching and event and pressing the save/download icon.
So where is that coming from?
The cameras SD CARD

The Cloud.
I am thinking it would be the cloud.
…and again, it depends where you initiate the download from. If you initiate the download/save from event’s tab it gets downloaded from the cloud. If you initiate it from the SD card it gets downloaded/saved from SD card.
It sounds like you’re watching an event from the list of events on the Events tab and tapping the download icon on the event video page. If so, the source of that event download comes from the cloud.
