If you install the latest Beta from the App Store it allows you to do RTSP without having to physically go to the camera.

Thank you for the direction. I did uninstall and install the beta app. It then wanted to update the firmware to 4.50.16.5654 amd now getting an error -3005 after trying to connect 3 times. My other cameras are working.

I do not see the beta app in the iOS app store. I installed the beta app from this link ( https://wyze-beta.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/rtsp.html ) awhile back… does this one work? When I enable RTSP on one of my v3 cameras in the beta app above, I am able to enter a username and password but then aft…

I do have a slight lag, more in the range of 1 sec. I’m running HA on a mini pc (Lenovo M910Q I5-6500T with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD)

I have no way to prove this since I can’t see wyze logs…but I did hit some bug when trying to interact with this in Home Assistant. I tried to take a “Camera Snapshot” of the video feed and it kept failing until I restarted the camera. The RTSP feed loaded fine, but this snapshot feature was failing…

Have you tried the Wyze Docker integration? There you can turn on verbose logging / details to see what is happening.

enroll in the beta and youll get the firmware. all my v3 and pan v3 are updated now through the production / beta app from the app store.
