Wyze Friends, happy Wyze day! Wyze started on this day in 2017 and got incredible support from our very first users, which we know includes many of you. In honor of today we wanted to finally make progress on a major feature request. Today we are releasing the first beta app for RTSP and RTSPS for…

Can confirm that the controller still works in the app when upgrading to the firmware that has RTSP available - what stopped working though was the wyze bridge that I had, and I cannot get the stream to come up in milestone no matter what I tried for settings.

Welcome to the Forum, @kodys000 ! Thanks for the confirmation about the Garage Door Controller with the new firmware. :+1: Is that with this earlier β firmware or with the production version 4.36.16.5654? I saw your earlier post about Milestone but don’t have any experience with that. I’…

Would you be able to tell me what you used to get FFPlay to work? I am trying to get ZoneMinder set up (might abandon Milestone completely) and I’m having an issue with ffplay even getting it to pull up. [in#0 @ 0x58eb44e38d40] Error opening input: Invalid data found when processing input Error ope…

[image] kodys000: Would you be able to tell me what you used to get FFPlay to work? Following the directions on the Wyze RTSP Testing Instructions page, the recommended URL (edited for correct username, password, and IP address) for FFplay worked for me when I had RTSPS enabled: ffplay -prot…

[image] TheWaterbug: Is this just an availability thing, where 4.36.16.5654 doesn’t appear for all cameras right away, as it slowly rolls out? That is my understanding from the announcement topic: [image] Wyze Firmware Updates - 2/2/2026 For Wyze Cam v3 and Wyze Cam Pan v3 this brings the…

I’m so happy with RTSP in V3, I have a lot of devices, I hope RSTP for V4. [Screenshot 2026-02-22 at 9.38.09 PM]

Thank you so much for doing this. I sold much of my wyze cameras because of the lack of this feature and a windows client. But I held on to two of them and now they work great in my Home Assistant. I bought a V4 just today thinking all things were equal, but I guess I’ll be returning it and getting …
