I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to express my ongoing concerns regarding the functionality of the Wyze Lamp Socket. Specifically, the inability to control lights effectively while using the socket has been a consistent issue. Having to power cycle my cameras regularly to maintain functionality is far from ideal.
It has been over two years, during which multiple firmware updates, logs, and reports have been submitted. However, the issue persists, and there has been no clear acknowledgment or resolution regarding potential defects in the lamp socket.
I believe that allowing users to control their lights independently of the Wyze app would significantly enhance the user experience. Addressing this concern would not only improve the product’s utility but also reinforce Wyze’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
