I am using my Wyze cam OG to monitor a house which doesn’t have an internet connection. I do have cell service so I can connect to my hot spot. The problem is my camera stops recording when it is disconnected from the hotspot. Does anyone have a workaround for this situation. I have an SD card installed and a card reader to read the SD card, just nothing to see. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
As I understand it, the OG cameras (unlike most of the others) will not continue to record upon failure of an Internet connection.
I thought the complaint was the OG would only record for 30 minutes without internet?
I don’t have one but there are some post discussing the issue.
That could well be the case. I don’t remember details.
