my wyze qr code is not scanning. does this code expire i purchased camera over 6 mos ago and installing just now?

Are you referring to the code provided when setting up th camera? If so, that QR code is for you network setup.
You can try printing it and holding it up to the camera or turning the brightness up on your phone.
