Most modern water and electric meters produce pulse outputs that can be counted electronically. Each pulse typically reflect a gallon of water or a kilowatt used.
With these counts, homeowners can monitor total usage and usage by time. I hope that Wyze will consider building a device to receive and count these pulses, and transmit the information to the Wyze app with options to create rules based on sums and rates of these pulses.
