Presets for Incandescent Equivalent Wattage and Color Temps

There should be some way to set the lights at a certain incandescent equivalent wattage and color temps within the app as presets across the board. I’ve manually created “scenes” in one lighting group, but if I create a new group, it doesn’t have the same settings in there, so I have to custom create them all over again.
Additionally, the ability to manually enter the color temp, color, or power intensity would be really helpful, with the 16Million colors, it’s hard to specify the color.

Examples would be a Warm White 2700k at 60W or say Bright White at 3000k and 75W.

does anyone see the need for this? like if you do

Yes. I would like to set hex codes for colors. Watts might be nice. Currently I equate 100٪ power to 100watts. (Not verified to be true.)

I currently use voice commands to set my default theater lights to 25% brightness at 2700 Kelvin.

If I want to clean and vacuum the room, I set 100% brightness at 6500 Kelvin. If I want something outside of cool white and warm white, I can set a color by voice. For fine tuning, I would like the ability to use a hex code.

This would be a nice option, not a requirement.

I have not ventured into the voice commands. it sounds convenient, but the need for more manual entry for accuracy is needed.

I can agree with your statement and used my old bulbs that way.

When I found my new bulbs auto-connecting to voice, I was thrilled. I no longer use either the Wyze or Kasa app to use my bulbs.

I enjoy walking into the room and telling Google to turn on my lights. Works great when going to bed to turn them off.

I have two lights on a schedule, but two other lights offer indirect lighting for TV.

I guess I could set up sensors but voice is super easy.

I forgot to mention. Voice is great to set up color. I say “Google turn on lights. Set brightness to 25% and color them orange.”

You also can say light cocoa brown or dark chocolate brown.

I heard of the color called Chartreuse, but had no idea what it looked like. Google and the bulbs showed me.

I can get close, but I would like to see what I can do with hex codes.

I haven’t tried speaking the hex codes.
