When was the last time anyone posting on this thread has contracted for a professional installation of a home network.

I’ve never have (paid for tech support) There’s other things I’ve never have paid for too but that’s an other story.

All routers/access points are not created equal. If you’re using a “router” provided by your ISP stop it. They buy the cheapest trash they can and rent it to you for quadruple what they paid for it. They are trash and you will have issues.

I thought I remembered this guy being a very well paid installer of networks at the homes of higher net worth individuals but he self-described as a “mostly-ethical hacker” so idk.

Hak5 makes purpose driven hardware for pen testing. The WiFi Pineapple is hardware that enables MITM, rouge AP attacks, etc. It’s very useful in security research.
