I am using 2x 12v to 5v converters to power 4 V3 cameras. Each converter rated at 3amps, I figured would be plenty available power for 4 cams.
My 5v micro usb to camera runs will utilize the stock 6 foot cord, and I have discovered that the internal wires of the wyze micro usb power cables are both the same color, white… so what do I do?
Could anyone tell me how to test polarity of the micro usb cable before I try to plug it into the camera? I would hate to damage some brand new cameras.
Uses the standard micro-USB pin out 1 = Vcc 5v and 5 is ground.
Any micro-USB adapter will have correct pin out.
I use something like the link below, would reference what I use but it’s currently unavailable on Amazon.

I take it you are planning on hard wiring into the cable and NOT using the original USB-A connector. Simple way to confirm the wires is to power the cable from a standard USB-A power source. Strip a little insulation off wires and measure the voltage on the wires with a DVM.
