When I am playing from SD card, I find that the playhead timestamp is getting out of sync with the timestamp of the actual event.
Note - I have set “event recording” (not “continuous recording”) on the SD card. Thus, on the timeline, there are gaps.
Here is video showing the issue.
- I start playing an event at 8th minute of 8 PM. The timestamp of playhead matches well with the timestamp of the event being played (couple seconds difference is OK).
- When the playhead completes playing the event at 8th minute - and note there is no event recorded at 9th minute - the playhead timestamp monotonically and incorrectly marches into the 9th minute of 8 PM, with the horizontal playhead bar scrubbing into the empty area on the timeline. At the same time, the video displayed is correctly showing the NEXT event video which happens to be at the 11th minute of 8 PM as shown in the video timestamp. Thus, the playhead timestamp and event video timestamp are out of sync by 2 minutes now.
- If I let it continue playing, and as it moves through more event gaps, the out-of-sync keeps growing.
I have a ticket with support on this issue. But I am posting here in case others have faced similar issue.
