What do I have to do to have the SD overwrite itself when its full? I’m not able to access the playback video.
It should overwrite itself when the card gets full. There will actually be a small amount of free space left but the card should automatically overwrite the oldest footage. If this isn’t happening I bet there is an error on the card not allowing it to be rewritten. For troubleshooting I would try a different card in the camera, and or try to format the card in a computer to see if that fixes the error. What type, size and brand SD card is it? I highly recommend and have high endurance cards in all my cameras so that they can handle the constant rewrite cycle as most all my cameras have the micro SD recording set to continuous.
