After updating, the playback slider no longer appears in landscape mode. It is there in portrait mode, but when I turn the phone sideways, the plat back show in landscape, but there is no time slider bar at the bottom.

If you tap the screen, it should slide back into view.

You might want to try deleting and reinstalling the Wyze app.

android 8.1.
it was good before, then yesterday I went to the play store and updated the app. When it didn’t support the time slider in landscape I tried to down grade the app version. Also trid uninstalling and resinstalling the app.
What version of the Wyze app are you now running?
