The wanted to go to go to school with the girl but Mom gave him a free flight to the front yard. I think he went back to the woods, he was headed for the driveway.
Did Mr. Forest Kitty wake up this morning and shred any of your furniture with his claws?
Nope, just demanded a can of Canadian Duck kitty food this morning.
He did claw the veterinarian and she said weāre done with him until he is under anesthesia, called him feralā¦
Feral to the vet, but to me a big baby to meā¦lol
Thatās terrifying! That mom was a lot more calm than I would have been, my instinct wouldāve been to slam it on the cement repeatedly until it was unconscious and I felt safe to let goā¦Iām impressed she was so collected and was able to fling that guy away as far as she did!
I hope they got checked for rabies, that is definitely not normal behavior, especially in the morning.
These things donāt happen near Antoniusā house because he keeps his Racoons well fed so theyāre not so hangry in the morning.
Well I would say you are correct about me feeding them but since they are always late for snack time the 3 neighborās cats, the Possum and now the squirrel have been taking all the goodies before they show up.
Well, take that video as a warning for what can happen when you arenāt putting out enough food for EVERYONE every night. What kind of joint do you think youāre running anyway? If the supplies are too limited, the neutral zone might stop being so neutralā¦
Just passing on a note from your friend:
Ah! Theyāre evolving! If they gain opposable thumbs, weāre done for in the long term!
Theyāre getting close, they are very good handling things with their front (Hands)
Update on Punkin. She has a standing appointment at the groomer (same company as her vet) every month. I told the groomer about Pepeā and asked that she shave both sides of her face. Punkin hasnāt acted like a zombie since yesterday.
Happy to hear the poor doggie is feeling better. Maybe will bring her some new non-stinky fur for an early present.
I knew some shaving would be involved.
Testing out the acorns I left for the squirrels, he says Nope.
See? You have domesticated him and now he is getting picky.
Too much rain for marshmallows, maybe I should get some hot dogs
Wow!
Is that your house?!?!
I knew a guy who basically raised someā¦somebody had killed the mother of 2 cubs, and he started feeding the cubs and they basically adopted him. Total hippie type of guy. Heād go running through the mountain with them while they hunted to eat, and theyād play with him.
The guy ended up getting charges for something and was put on probation, and half the time his P.O. came to visit him, he couldnāt even get out of the car because the mountain lions were protective of the guyās home. Guard cats for real. He could tell the cats to leave visitors alone, but he never told the cats it was okay for his PO to be there
and supposedly since they were wild animals, not pets and it was basically in the mountains, the mountain lions were allowed to be there.
Iām surprised his PO didnāt force him to move or something, I heard eventually his PO violated him and sent him to jail (I think for weed?), and I have no idea whatever happened to him after thatā¦that was well over a decade ago though.
You going to keep feeding them so you have your own domesticated guard cats?
