I noticed that Wyze has filled my order for delivery by Amazon logistics. Amazon has misdelivered 3 of my last 5 orders to some other address. I particularly did not buy through Amazon because of problems with them. Wyze is making a big mistake becoming part of the Amazon machine. If my order goes to the wrong address, I am done with Wyze, just like I now avoid Amazon. Wyze WAS a great company. Go back to your roots of being responsible for your products and service. That is what made Wyze great.
It is pretty hard to avoid Amazon today. Even smart beds use Amazon AWS.
I don’t pay for Prime and get free shipping on orders over $35 dollars. I only buy from Amazon if the price is comparable or lower. I get my orders within 2-5 days. If I need something today I will get it from a brick and mortar store..
I have only had problems with 2 orders in five years. One order I received the wrong style of Levi jeans. Kept them anyway because I liked the fit.
This year I orders a bed rack for my pickup and received a bed tent. Amazon gave me a shipping label to ship it back and I got a full refund.
I don’t love Amazon, but I don’t hate them either.
It’s the driver, not the company. I have had bad deliveries from UPS and other companies, too.
I have a couple of Wyze cameras recording deliveries; most Amazon drivers are competent, but one delivered to my neighbor, who took the package. The delivery text said, “… handed to the resident …”. And one tossed a package over a hedge, despite an electronics decal affixed to it.
The good thing about Amazon delivery is that it’s easy to get a replacement.
