Notifications on only 1 cam turning off

I have a total of 16 wyze cams (1 doorbell, 1 floodlight v2). Every couple of days the notification on the floodlight will turn off. All other stay working just fine.
I did all the basic things I read about in forums and here. Still does that same thing.
Any advice, help?
Thanks

If you’ve ruled out other potential causes (e.g., someone else having access to the camera and disabling notifications intentionally or otherwise), then I’d be inclined to reproduce the issue, submit a log from the app, and follow that up by opening a ticket that refers to the Log ID you generated, just to get this on the engineers’ radar.

I’m not sure what’s included when you say “all the basic things”, but I’d probably consider doing a Restart and or Reset Services if you haven’t yet tried those. (I don’t have a Cam Floodlight v2, but other Wyze Cams tend to have both of those buttons on the main Settings screen, so I’d expect to see these on the Floodlight, as well.)

Welcome to the Forum, @brianr4694!

Tried those numerous times. Deleted and added the device back to app. Deleted and reinstalled the app. Still the same.

Just last week I had 3 more floodlight cam v2 installed. So far those have not had this issue.

What kinds of Automations are you using? Is it possible that you have one of those turning off notifications for the affected camera?

That’s my thought too, especially since when you delete and re-add a cam, it automatically re-adds to the automation. If the cam is shared, the shared user could have even created an automation not realizing it affects the main user too (and the main user can’t even see the automation).

This specific cam is not on ANY of my set automations. All interior cams are set to stop notifications at a certain time, but every exterior cam is not on this, or on any other. And if it was the automation, this cam only turns them off every few days, not everyday at the time of automations.

Not shared with anyone else in the house. I am the only one with the wyze app.

I guess that blows that idea. Thanks for confirming. Are all of your Cam Floodlight v2s using the same firmware version? The update Wyze released in May seems to have hosed connectivity for some Cam Floodlight v2 users who don’t broadcast their Wi-Fi’s SSID, so I’m wondering if it also included a notifications bug. I’m just speculating at this point, though. :man_shrugging:

I don’t have a Cam Floodlight v2, and I’m trying to think about why this one particular device might be affected when your others aren’t. If it’s not Automations or firmware, then I’m struggling to figure out the difference at this point.

The 3 newly installed were all updated as soon as they were initially set up, and are the same firmware version.

I will give it a couple of weeks to see if any of the new ones do the same.

thanks for the help
