I have a Window Cam and I am not receiving any notification on my phone when motion is detected. What have I done incorrectly?
Could be any number of things, there are settings you need to enable in the app, the app needs notification permissions, or it could be that your phone is “sleeping” the wyze app and you need to allow it unrestricted battery. In my case I have to enable the setting in the app “running in background” to get consistent notifications as my phone is pretty aggressive at pausing apps. I also set it to unrestricted battery use in my OS (Android in my case) and haven’t seen any notable impact on battery life. With those settings I get all notifications.
However if you’re getting none at all, that points more toward them not being enabled or allowed.
