I am no longer receiving Person Detection or any of the other “AI” detections for any of my cameras, including ones with Cams Plus on them. It worked so well in the past, and I’ve been a Beta App tester for ages. Now, the cameras and services are pointless.

It must be the roll of the dice. I live in the S.F. Bay Area, Ca. I have 4 outdoor cams and one new V3. I get PD and Vehicle detection all day long every day and night .The only issue I had was with the new firmware for the outdoor cam, I got no notifications so I changed back to the previous versio…

My V3 cam detects motion but doesn’t report as an event. All older cameras work fine

mine has been down all day today must have started in the night was getting person detection yesterday but now zero on all 3 of my v2 cams

This is for my Pan and Outdoor. Thanks for adding your comment here.

I hear your pain. Just commented on another post re: Alexa isn’t announcing person detection as usual since yesterday. Now I’ve gone back and viewed my event videos from pizza delivery and 3 cameras did not recognize a person event. Sigh.

Is this their way of forcing us to use Cam Plus?

Are they having the same issue? [image] No Alerts from All Devices Home I am not getting any motion notifications from my outdoor wireless camera, for the past three days.

I have person detection enabled (without cam plus) and I have not received any person detection notifications on any of my cameras since about 12:00 EST 1/29. There’s definitely a backend issue causing this. Another thing I noticed is that when something breaks (notifications, event triggers, sche…

Maybe rushing to meet a deadline and pushing code out the door before end of week / end of month? Wyze has not gotten a great handle on development. See for example the crazy DNS query thread (thousands of spurious lookups from the V3s).

[image] rodaimi: when something breaks (notifications, event triggers, schedules etc.) It almost always happens on a Friday You’re wrong. It happens all the time. It’s just that on other days, there’s someone up at Wyze trying to fix things before more people notice.

It just started working for me again. I didn’t power cycle or change anything, and my nightly reboot isn’t scheduled for another hour. Sigh. The Alexa announcement worked, although the event is still labeled only as “Motion” in the Wyze app. I give up. :frowning:
